How we think
Every app should feel like it belongs on your Mac. We care about the details — the way text selects, how scrolling feels, the weight of a font — so you can focus on your work instead of your tools.
We believe that reading and writing are fundamental computing tasks that deserve beautiful, fast, native tools. Our first product, Markant, is a Markdown viewer built on this principle.
Open standards
We created the MarkBooks format and released the specification under CC0. Anyone can implement it, and we think that makes better products for everyone.
